Right now, most of us are spending a lot of time in a virtual work and social world, spending too much time watching the news, and trying to deal with different worries. In addition, there is an underlying uncertainty in what the future holds. These activities are leaving many feeling out of balance or anxious. The question is what can we do to help ourselves feel better and deal with what is going on in a more balanced way?
For me there are four simple things we can that can make a huge difference for how you go through your day. These four practices are excellent for grounding the body and nourishing the nervous system. So, what are these four practices? Gratitude
If you haven’t watched the Ted talk by Shawn Anchor, I highly recommend watching it. I heard him speak in Austin, Texas at a conference this past Fall and was very impressed with his talk and the takeaways. It really motivated me to make it a habit.
