During this time of year many of us start making New Year’s resolutions. Some of them we can stick to, and some start to feel like a heavy burden or start to overwhelm us because we are trying to do something that is so different from what we were doing before. When it comes to health there are various places to start. I thought I could share one simple tip that is EASY to bring into your life during 2018, while also being beneficial.

Start your Day with Warm Lemon Water

Warm water aids digestion and lemon juice contains vitamin C, a potent antioxidant that helps calm the liver and protect against free radical damage.

Instructions

Take 1 cup of warm water and add 4 slices of lemon OR take 1 cup of water and squeeze a little lemon juice (1-2t) into you water. Drink and enjoy. This is best taken before eating or drinking anything else (but after you cleanse your mouth).
