In a recent podcast I listened to with Terry Crews, he shared a piece of wisdom from The Master Key System that changed his life. The idea is that in order to have, you have to do, and in order to do you have to be. The basic point is that opposed to wanting to be wealthy or fit, you need to act as if you already are.
I have probably heard something similar before, but sometimes it is hearing the right thing at the right time, and for me this was one of those moments. For a while I had been saying “I am abundant” but I wasn’t making decisions in the present moment to affirm that. I didn’t take the next step, which is asking what does an abundant person do, and then doing that. This is the piece that I am exploring, and thinking about.
I think that the point above ties into the larger theme that life is not the destination but the journey. Which is to say that abundance is not a destination but a moment to moment experience. It is not likely that we are going to be feeling not abundant, not abundant, not abundant and then all of a sudden BOOM I am abundant now. It is more likely that we foster abundance in the moment. We feel and believe we are abundant and then act abundantly in a given moment, which leads to many moments of an abundant life.
If you already feel abundant, keep rocking it! But if not, then I encourage you to give it a try along with me. If abundant is not your word, then maybe replace it with healthy, fit, thriving, vibrant, or whatever else you are cultivating in your life. Thanks so much for reading!
