    Tidying Up Financially

    Published by Kerry Meath-Sinkin

If you are like many of us, you have gotten wrapped up in the KonMari method, a simple process to tidy up the home. You can’t log onto Facebook without finding people taking images of their tidied-up sock drawers or kitchen cupboards. My husband even mentioned that thrift stores are feeling the effect of extra items, as everyone offloads their extra goods. It’s not surprising to me that this method has gotten so incredibly popular. As a culture, we are struggling to simplify our lives physically and emotionally. Too many clothes, too many ideas, too much clutter in our minds, too much clutter in our homes, and too much to do. Read more

How You Can Find Nourishment by Bathing in Silence?

    Published by Kerry Meath-Sinkin

From an Ayurvedic perspective, Fall indicates that it is a time to shift our daily rhythms. Writing Your Ethical Will or Legacy Letter

    Published by Kerry Meath-Sinkin

Last year I was sitting down with one of our clients. They are a wonderful, energetic, and very active couple in our community. Towards the end of our meeting we began talking about a friend of theirs who had recently passed away. While it was a sad story because of his younger passing, the beauty of the story, was that in the last year of his life he really “lived it.” He spent time with his family, travelling around the world, and doing what he loved. He was also took some time to create what some may call an ethical will or a compilation of stories that he could use to share his values and wisdom with his family. Read more

Does Being Overly Critical Impact Your Relationship to Money?

    Published by Kerry Meath-Sinkin

When we build up too much fire and water in our system, there is a tendency to become more constricted, tight, or controlled in different areas of our life. When it comes to money, summer heat may exacerbate a feeling of being very controlled around a budget, and create a feeling that clouds our ability to enjoy our summer activities. Simply having these emotions is normal, but the question becomes how can we move with these emotions to bring greater joy, abundance, and ease into our life? Read more
